Global vaccine deliveries

This dataset lists all countries that have received vaccines from the Covax initiative, through bi-lateral donations, bought from pharmaceutical companies, from the Africa Vaccine Acquisition Trust, the vaccine received, the number of doses and the date received.

iso_code: 3-letter ISO country code.

continent: Name of continent.

country: Name of country.

common _name: The most commonly used name of a vaccine. eg, BBIBP-CorV is more commonly known as the Sinopharm vaccine and Ad26.COV2.S is the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

supplier_name: Name of company that developed the vaccine.

doses_received: Number of doses received in a particular shipment.

bought_donated: “Bought” means a country bought the vaccines, “Donated” means they were donated, “Covax” means they came via Covax, “private” when private institutions buy vaccines; “sold” when a country sells vaccines they received to another country; “donated-out” is when a country donates vaccines to another with no expectation of reciprocity.

donor: Name of the country or group of countries supplying the vaccines received.

covax: Yes or No variable. Is the vaccine part of the Covax initiative?

date_received: Date shipment of vaccines was delivered.
