This dataset contains a list of countries and the types of Covid vaccines they are using. It includes when vaccination started for each vaccine type, where the vaccine is fully approved for use in that country, the date of approval, where available, and whether it is supplied by Covax. Description of variables.

iso_code: 3-letter ISO country code.

continent: Name of continent.

country: Name of country.

common _name: The most commonly used name of a vaccine. eg, BBIBP-CorV is more commonly known as the Sinopharm vaccine and Ad26.COV2.S is the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

supplier_name: Name of company that developed the vaccine. Same as develop variable in Sheet 1: Vaccines.

authorised_emergency_use: Yes or blank cell. The table of vaccines used by countries around the world is triggered by a Yes.

date_authorised_emergency_use: Date when a country’s health ministry authorised a vaccine for emergency or limited use.

vaccination_started: Yes or blank cell. The table of vaccines used by countries around the world is triggered by a Yes. As is the Africa map vaccine tracker

date_vaccination _started: Date country started to vaccinate people with a vaccine.

approved: Yes or blank cell. Has a vaccine been fully approved by a country?

date_approved: Date country announced full approval for a vaccine.

covax_supplied: Yes or blank cell. Did country receive vaccine through Covax initiative?

authorised_source: URLs of all the sources for the data in the authorised_emergency_use, date_athorised_emergency_use, approved and date_approved variables. List of URLs, separated by semicolons.

vaccination_source: URLs of all the sources for the data in the vaccination_started and date_vaccination_started variables. List of URLs, separated by semicolons.
